It is true friends that all people desire to or want to have that person or persons whom they know they can always rely on at any given time. A person whom they know won’t disappoint or betray them, a person whom they can trust their lives with. Depending on your environment or where you grew up you will either consider having such individuals in your life or none at all.

Some people go through life looking for that one person or persons they can trust wholeheartedly and always rely on. Some people search their entire lives through for that perfect fit whom they know will never fail them. Some people long to find the person or persons they can just trust fully, completely and 100% at all times. Friends, some people consider themselves lucky or fortunate enough to have found that one person or persons and they live happily and that is good, but there are those individuals who never find that perfect fit because there is always something off about the relationship. Some individuals look for the good in people and try to trust those they consider worthy of their trust, but there is always something wrong, as a result some people gave up on finding that perfect fit.

Friend, today I won’t point you to others, today I won’t point you to find that perfect fit in others, today I want you to understand that you already have that one person who is always on your side even when you are wrong or make mistakes. Today is the day that you discover the most important person in existence in your life that will never betray you or stab you in the back: That Person Is You!! You are The Perfect Fit!!

You are that one person who will always be there for you, You are the one person who will go out of your way to bring the best of all good things into your life, You are that one person you can always trust because you know where your heart is, You will never willingly or out of your own free will bring harm to yourself or stab yourself in the back, You can Always trust Yourself, Always!! Friend, friends may fail you, family may disappoint you and loved ones might not be there for you, but You will always and without fail be there for and with you.

You might think, ‘Where is the value of all this? Me always being there for myself, how is that important?’

Friend, the important thing about you understanding this fact and undeniable reality is that you need to be aware of this at all times. Be aware in every decision you make, every step you take, because you are the One Person who is really responsible for your own well-being. It is your responsibility to choose the best for yourself, the best companions, the best environment, the best home, job, friends and every other thing in life. Trust your own judgment because you are 100% for yourself, closer than a brother, a perfect fit and 100% on your side. Reality is that You Want The Very Best For Yourself and you ought to be the first person you trust, all others are second, third, fourth and so on, but you are first.

“This only have I found: God made mankind upright” (Proverbs 7:29 NIV)

Trust Yourself, THERE IS GOOD IN YOU!! God put it there.

Life on earth, friends, is filled with challenges. Just about every human being born on this planet will face some kind of challenge in their lifetime. There is no running away from it or trying to pretend that such challenges does not exist. Reality forces you to acknowledge those challenges and even if you choose to ignore them, they won’t go away.

What you refuse to acknowledge and deal with today will bite you tomorrow. Challenges are like small seeds, when they begin they are tiny, but as time progress they increase in stature and grow into very large problems. The best thing you can do with your challenges is to face them head on when you first notice them. Trying to avoid them won’t make them go away or shrink in size; they will only grow larger up until you have a Goliath to face. The sooner you deal with those challenges the better for you and the sooner you will find peace. Keep in mind that accepting a challenge and facing it head-on means you will have to stand your ground and stay strong.

Strong people become strong through dealing with those challenges they are being confronted with and strength increases when you develop your character enough to face challenges instead of running away from things. Even if you are facing a Goliath today and you consider your strength to be small, you are not alone; God is ready and willing to help you face the challenge. God is able to strengthen you through His might so you can overcome that which challenges you and become a victor.

Fear is what keeps most people from dealing with challenges and fear also keeps them from becoming victorious. Fear not, be not afraid, be strong and accept the challenge. Fear inhibits and causes you to hold back even if you have the strength to overcome the challenge, fear wants you to quit without even trying. Face the challenge and kick fear to the curb, you are stronger than you think.

“The LORD watches over you- the LORD is your shade at your right hand… The LORD will keep you from all harm- He will watch over your life.” (Psalm 121:5,7 NIV)

Dear friends, it is true that there are certain relatives or loved ones whose behaviour makes it really difficult to want to love or care for them, but it is also necessary  to point out that it is important to show your love and affection for those you really care for. Keep in mind that you have one life to live and the ones you do love and care for also only have one life to live, you have to make the best of this one life.

There are many speculations on earth amongst people of different backgrounds and religions about what happens after you die, but the truth is, all are in agreement about one thing: they are all going to die. My advice is to not worry about death, death is not worried about you or thinking about you or your loved ones, death is absent and life is present, enjoy your life. Enjoy your loved ones, be less critical and fault-finding, show your appreciation, love and care for those you love. After the passing of a loved one is it really going to matter that they accidentally broke a dinner plate or glass, or ripped a favourite t-shirt or a pair of pants you really liked? No, what does matter is the fact that their life was shared with you and you loved them. Be less critical and do not blow small and insignificant things out of proportion, show your love, show your affection, be there now, be present in their life with warmth and love.

When people are born they are born with no ill-intention toward you and if they accidentally knock something you consider precious over, then consider, it was an accident, not deliberate, so let it go and refuse to get angry over things which  can be replaced and continue loving the person who cannot be replaced. Be present in your life and in the lives of those you love, be part of it, share the good moments and avoid getting angry over insignificant things. If you were to lose the people most precious to you what is it that you would want to remember about them, the times you argued and were upset over nonsense or the times you laughed and shared your lives and good energy with each other? Show love and kindness, be considerate and don’t be quick to jump to conclusions about stuff you do not have all the facts about, be open-minded and get your facts straight. Sometimes things just happen and in most instances if you are less critical and more considerate you might find that healthy communication can solve a lot of misunderstandings.

“Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.” (Proverbs 17:14 NIV)

“Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” (Proverbs 12:18)

Friends it is of vital importance to go through life with your eyes wide open. Eyes Wide Open and aware of all those around you. Not everyone you know is good for you or worthy to be found in your own private space. There are certain people who simply do not belong in your life. They are not always creepy strangers or mean people you work with or share your workspace with, they can be your own relatives, your own kin, yes, those you consider your own blood.

As much as it is the desire of most noble and pure-hearted people to get along with all their relatives and loved ones, reality, however, proves that not all those relatives you want to get along with wants to get along with you. Most people expect to be found in friendly company or in a good space when they are with their relatives or loved ones, but sometimes those relatives and loved ones are the last people you want to be around. No, not because you hate them or have something against them, but mostly because of their behaviour and attitude. There are certain relatives who simply choose to display behaviours and attitudes which are really unacceptable and dangerous. Yes, I said dangerous. Dangerous for them and dangerous for you, some people, even relatives, are not always the best things to be around, especially when they have bad attitudes and/or hang out with the wrong crowd.

Some loved ones and relatives who possess no common sense or an ounce of righteous wisdom usually make choices and decisions which put their lives at risk and they then expect you to go with the flow of their idiotic choices. Friend, there is nothing wrong with expelling such idiots, even though they are close relatives or loved ones, from your own private space. There is nothing wrong with excluding them and their stupid choices from your own life. There is no need to keep tolerating a person or people who repeatedly disrespects or disregard you. Allow them their freedom to choose their own realities and standard of living, but there is no need for you to allow them to invade your private space with their chaos.

Be awake and present in your own life, it is not wise to allow others, even relatives or loved ones, to lower your quality of life. It is not wise to unconditionally allow anyone into your own private space. It is your-God-given-right to demand to be respected by all those you allow into your own private space, it is your-God-given-right to expect people to treat you with the same respect, kindness and consideration you treat them with. No one is allowed to blatantly disrespect you or your own private space. People are free to choose their own friends and who they want to spend their private time with, but on no righteous level is it acceptable for anyone to expect you to open your own private space to their friends just because you are close family. Friends of family members are not automatically your friends and it is arrogant and disrespectful of close relatives to bring their friends into your private space without consulting you or asking for your approval first. If close family desire to share their own private space with every Tom, Dick and Jerry or even Harry they come across, that is their choice. It is to your benefit to only allow worthy, respectful and trustworthy individuals into your own private space whose backgrounds are clear to you.

“Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right.” (Proverbs 20:11 NIV)

“The fear of the LORD leads to life: Then one rests content, untouched by trouble.” (Proverbs 19:23)

Friends, to live content and untouched by trouble keep the quarrelsome and ill-tempered out of your own private space.

“Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insults are ended.” (Proverbs 22:10)

Friends, this day is a day for celebration!! This is a day for acceptance, acceptance of self and the greatness inside of yourself. It takes a very smart and intelligent individual to acknowledge that there is greatness inside of them. I consider that it is widespread talk of the greatness inside of each human, but very few celebrate the God-given greatness inside of them.

Very few people actually believe or are persuaded that there is greatness inside of them. Their thoughts are, “If there is greatness in me where is it?” or “Show me, so I can use that greatness to actually succeed at accomplishing my dreams.” Friends, today you will discover that greatness inside yourself; today is your day!!

Consider the earth and all things in it, consider the great and beautiful things on the earth which are obvious and plain to see, consider the beautiful birds, animals like lions, cheetahs, leopards, fishes in the ocean, consider the trees and fruits on those trees, consider the plants, green grass and beautiful flowers of many kinds, consider all the beautiful and great things created by God. There are many great things created by God, many great things on earth, but there are many other great things which God created which God hid in the earth. There are diamonds, gold and silver and many other precious metals and things created by God which God Himself hid underneath the ground. God Himself put great things under the earth and the same God created you and gave you all kinds of superficial beauties and abilities, but He also hid great treasures inside of you.

Those treasures are those invisible and intangible beauties which you can’t put your hands on, but they are of very great value. Those hidden treasures are that which determines how great a person you are, not only in God’s sight, but also in the sight of your family, friends and strangers. Those hidden treasures are what determine your true worth. Consider if you purchase a piece of land and a certain price is set for that piece of land, but just before you sign the papers a large amount of gold and diamonds are discovered to be deposited right in the midst of that property. What do you think will happen to the value of that property? The value will increase greatly and so will the purchasing price. Why? Because of what was underneath the ground, because of that which was hidden underneath the soil. In like manner when your hidden treasures and greatness are revealed to people or they discover your hidden greatness your value increase greatly. They like you more, appreciate you more, love you more.

The problem with most people is that they are not aware of their inner-greatness or they do not believe that they have more to offer people than what is seen. They do not believe that they are worth much or of great value and as a result they do not expect to be treated like someone valuable. They are looking down on themselves and they do not celebrate themselves or their own inner-greatness, because they think that all they have to offer others is what can be seen and touched and that is not enough. Friends, your God created you with great potential and the hidden greatness to become very great in your own sight, the sight of God and the sight of man. If you understood your true value you would expect more, demand more and gain more. You would celebrate your own greatness and thank God for it!!

Friends, one of those hidden great treasures inside of you is freedom, freedom to choose. For some this is not a treasure or something great, simply because they do not understand freedom to choose. Freedom to choose has nothing to do with possessions or material things; it is all about your own perspective of yourself and your own self-worth. If you are valuable in your own sight and consider yourself worthy of the best of all good things, you will always choose the best. You will never accept poor quality or choose poor quality; you will always choose the best. You will choose the best house, the best cars, the best clothes, the best friends, the best mate, the best behaviour and the best of every good thing. You will not neglect yourself or your own interests; you will choose to be your best for yourself. It is not a great mystery, but people tend to treat other people based on how they see people treat themselves. If people see you always choosing the best, they in turn will only offer you their best, because you used your freedom of choice to set a great standard for yourself. A standard you chose to live by. Freedom of choice is a great treasure and God trusted you with it; use it wisely and choose wisely.

“You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.” (Psalm 16:11 NIV)

“The path of life leads upward for the wise to keep him from going down to the grave.” (Psalm 15:24)

Friend, wise choices will increase your days and you will inevitably live longer.

Friends, every part of your body is evidence that you were empowered to prosper and succeed in life. With your eyes you can see where you are going or want to go, your feet can take you there and once you get there your hands can do what you want to accomplish. Every new day is a fresh opportunity for you to prosper and succeed at accomplishing your dreams. Every new day is another day you can make use of your God-given tools to succeed and accomplish your heart’s desire.

Friends, just think about it, God your Creator gave strong claws and sharp teeth to lions, bears and tigers to provide for themselves and likewise your body parts are evidence that God created you to be a success and accomplish something with your life. It might be that you look at others whom you consider to be a success and you also desire to be a success, but you doubt whether you have what it takes to succeed. Friends, today God wants you to understand that you do have what it takes to succeed and do well. God created you to succeed, God equipped you with the necessary tools to succeed and God wants you to succeed. Believe in yourself and your God-given abilities and strengths, believe that you are able to succeed and that God empowered you to prosper and succeed.

Friends, every person you look at and consider to be a success have been supplied with the same kinds of tools you possess: arms, legs, eyes, ears, hands, feet and a brain. They were given those tools by the same God Who created you and He wants you to know that.

Friends, remember to embrace your Creator and to ask for God’s advice. God wants you to acknowledge Him and invite Him to give His input. God wants you to succeed and He wants your good plans to succeed and for you to accomplish great things. God wants to be your Adviser and that is free advice which costs you nothing:

“Plains fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” (Proverbs 15:22 NIV)

Friends, God wants you to succeed and He wants to be your Guide and Adviser. With God your plans will become better and wiser and success will be brought closer and well within your reach. Remember, God already gave you the tools to succeed and He wants your dreams to come true. Be humble enough to ask God for His wisdom.

“In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)

God will direct your steps and show you the better ways to succeed and accomplish your heart’s desire. Believe in yourself and believe in the God Who created you to succeed.

Working Your Plan!!

It may sound strange to some, but in order for you to achieve that success you are dreaming of you will need a good plan. A good plan which will bring you to that dream reality; too many people are dreamers, but not planners. The people who are dreamers with plans are usually the ones to achieve good success and see their dreams happen.

Achieving success in any area of life is a process, especially planned success. There is nothing wrong with planning to succeed, it is a good thing. I heard someone say, if you fail to plan then you plan to fail, and there is truth in that statement. The first steps to achieve good success starts with a good plan to succeed, but having a good plan is not a guarantee that you will achieve that success you are dreaming of. The key to achieve planned success is Working Your Plan!!

Remember that you are an individual, you are unique and as an individual it is important to keep in mind that the only person who is 100% for you is you. It is your responsibility to work your own plan and to keep your focus. Yes, there are many people on the planet, but how many of those billions are actually devoted to see you succeed at achieving your dreams? How many other people are working your plan? It is important to stay focused and to not allow yourself to be distracted by others, which may result in you neglecting your own plans to succeed.

You want your dreams to happen, but things, even good things, don’t just happen, there is some kind of energy behind that happening. If you want your dreams to happen you will need to put some energy, positive energy and effort behind that dream. You will need to work your plan.

There is of course nothing wrong with asking for help and the first person in line willing to help your plan succeed is God:

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3 NIV)

Ask for God’s help, ask for God’s wisdom, ask for God’s direction and become a good success and see your dreams happen!!

Each person is born with a desire for love and a place to belong. Each person is born unique and with their own beauty. The problem for most people is when they start to interact with other individuals who are less appreciative of their beauty and uniqueness. These individuals are those who are always trying to change people into what they would want them to be. The reality, however, is that you were born to be unique and your own person.

It is acknowledged that humans are born to be unique and for that very reason it is not advised to trade your own unique beauty of character and personality for someone else’s idea of what they want you to be. Be yourself and celebrate that which makes you special and sets you apart from all other people on earth. You were born to shine and be unique and wonderful, free to be yourself. Your Creator, Who formed you in your mother’s womb created you different from all other people for that very reason: BE YOURSELF AND CELEBRATE YOUR OWN UNIQUE BEAUTY!!

Love yourself and prove that love for self by BEING YOURSELF.  Do not trade your own beauty and unique and special characteristics for someone else’s idea of what you ought to be. God created your inner and outer beauty and God gave you the freedom to celebrate yourself and that beauty and special parts of yourself which He Himself built into you. Those special parts of yourself are to be celebrated and if anyone in their right mind steps into your life you should expect them to celebrate with you, not criticize you or try and change you. They should love You For You!!

Your God-given beauty is that particular thing or things which set you apart from all other people, it is as unique as you own fingerprint, it makes you special and unique. It is important for you to find or discover those things about yourself which you know are wonderful about you. Yes, I know, it is sometimes much easier to see beauty in others than it is to see in yourself, but I am telling you the truth, there is beauty in you, find it if you haven’t already. Love yourself and celebrate yourself, find the good in you and about you and don’t allow others to change you.

Love yourself for you and tell those who might try to change you into what they want you to be: LOVE ME FOR ME!!

“For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:13-14 NIV)

Yes, you are wonderfully made, unique and very special; there is no one on earth like you!!
